1.
"every once in a while, i can see you and you can see me; i don't see you much anymore" - a month ago again, sleep in my car live in your hands a year ago again, my stomach hurts for all the right reasons - i want to get so close that i can't feel you anymore i want to get so close i can't remember
2.
start starving start living let it be, let it be, let it be tell me there's no sanctity, tell me everything i could be, tell me— at least tell me something. i don't need a love, i don't need a burning i don't need a love, i don't need a burning just let it be maybe if i fall asleep, maybe if i fall asleep again.

about

two songs recorded in my dorm in october, 2019 in the midst of what was then the worst and wackiest time of my life. not from any larger project, but there WILL be a new album coming eventually and hopefully soon!!!

credits

released March 6, 2020

starring sean thornton as Sean Thornton: guitar, melodica, drip drop, lyrics, triangle, singing bowl, spinning

recorded in my dorm, october 14 & 15, 2019, new york, ny.

the cover was derived from two disposable pictures from the recording of blue-gold ephemeral on april 20, 2019 in my living room in ridley township, pennsylvania. sitting in the center is an old old shadow of me. these songs are a funeral march.

happy birthday george!
